SQL-Retriever is high-performance middleware designed for rapid development of database access solutions. It uses Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) to deliver UNIX system SQL database information to Windows desktops. It also includes Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), which allows you to access and manipulate data across the intranet or Internet
SQL-Retriever is no longer supported.
The last/latest version of SQL-Retriever to appear is/was 4.18 (release notes dated June 2000) which was included on SCO labelled Vision2K v2.1.
